Parents act like they would do anything for their kids. But, define anything. Would you do things that make you uncomfortable? Would you do things out of your comfort zone? Would you do things that are hard and confusing? Would you do things that are big and bold? I hate when parents say, “I would die for my kids.” Your kids don’t want you to freaking die for them. They want you to LIVE, truly LIVE. Live a big bold beautiful life worthy of their time and future. That’s why I moved my kids away from the dangers of the United States and took them abroad. It’s not a radical solution, it’s logical. 🆘🇺🇸 #TikTokEncyclopediaContest

Replying to @landofcoconuts Inventing reasons why you cannot move abroad is a defense mechanism. You are nervous that moving abroad is too big of a step for you to take, so you make up an excuse about why you can’t. BUT, at the same time, you tell everyone you WANT to. Telling people you want to gives you the dopamine rush of excitement of just considering that freedom and safety if you lived abroad. Saying you want to with no substance behind it absolves you of the work or effort it takes to move abroad. At some point the pain of staying stuck will outweigh your discomfort with change. 🆘🇺🇸 #TikTokEncyclopediaContest

Scouting trips are a very effective marketing campaign from travel agents and government immigration programs. They have convinced you that a tour group visiting a city for a day or two is going to help you make a decision about where to move. All you are doing by taking a scouting trip is engaging in expensive procrastination. You waste a bunch of money on a not very fun vacation while also delaying your decision to actually move. Instead, decide to move, pick a city based on all available data, and then move. After six months of living there, you may start to pick up on little things that annoy you, start tracking those and if after a year that place doesn’t feel like a winner, try again with a new city. A scouting trip will just make you dig your heels in the sand on the city you pick and you’ll refuse to pivot when things get hard because you invested so much in picking that city. 🆘🇺🇸 #TikTokEncyclopediaContest

Telling yourself you need to take a scouting trip just delays your decision to move. You already know America is not the place for you. Replying to @_anas_bananas_ I help Americans who know THAT they want to move, but not WHERE they want to move. If you already have your sights set on a specific country, I’m not your best choice for move abroad coach. My specialty is looking at global visa options for your situation. I match you all your criteria with countries that will take you. We take a very analytical look at your options so you have a better chance of picking the right one. 🆘🇺🇸 #TikTokEncyclopediaContest

The country you're fixated on might be the worst option for your situation. Not because it's a bad country. Because it doesn't match your income level, family size, visa eligibility, or long-term goals. But you won't know that if you only research one place. Costa Rica might require more income than you have while Panama requires less. Portugal might have a 2-year visa waitlist while Spain processes in 3 months. Thailand might not accept your type of income while Malaysia does. Country fixation costs you time, money, and opportunities. Strategic planning shows you the full landscape first, then lets you choose from what's actually available to you. One approach wastes years. The other gets you moved. Replying to @seraphina.shop Picking the country you should move should be an analytical choice not an emotional decision. I match financial considerations, healthcare concerns, educational requirements, weather preferences, citizenship potential, diversity and inclusion data, and more - to find you the right country to move to. Don’t fall for the trap of choosing a country just because it goes viral. There are lots of wonderful places to live that will match your criteria, but just haven’t become popular yet. Often, the reason they haven’t gone viral is because the income requirements are too high for travel influencers to qualify, so only older people are able to utilize those visas. Find out your options in the Global Life Accelerator group coaching program. 🆘🇺🇸 #TikTokEncyclopediaContest

Knowing your “why” is important in many areas of life. However, it is absolutely not important when it comes to why you want to move abroad. The only reason people want to know why you want to move abroad is because they are nosy and want to convince themselves that your reasons aren’t “good enough.” You are allowed to move abroad just because you want to. Convincing other people that your reasons are enough is not your responsibility. Knowing how to move abroad is really the question everyone should be asking. Decide you are moving and then focus entirely on the HOW. 🆘🇺🇸 #TikTokEncyclopediaContest #creatorsearchinsights

Replying to @violetlefae Money won’t magically show up just because you say you want to move abroad. Only once you have fully decided you’re moving will you be able to create the funds necessary to get out of the United States. Decide to move abroad and you start to look at the world differently. All the excuses you have for not moving abroad are bullshit. You say those things just to fill air space, but they aren’t actually the thing holding you back. People get a dopamine hit by claiming they want to do something big and bold and exciting. But, taking action is a different story. Knowing what to do, how to do it, when to do it, it’s all very mundane and boring. Just talking about it and making excuses gets you the social status you want, someone who “wants” to do big things but “can’t.” 🆘🇺🇸 #TikTokEncyclopediaContest #creatorsearchinsights

If leaving the country is your dream then you should be taking aligned actions. But, what I hear over and over again is: “Find me a job, then I’ll move” “I’ll go if you’re paying for it” “You gotta convince my ex to let me go” “Once you find a cheaper way to bring my dog then I can go” The excuses are constant. My biggest regret since moving abroad Move abroad in 6 months plan I’ve been afraid of changes song It breaks my heart that kids these days anticipate school shootings as a part of their lives. America has allowed that. They know, that the government and politicians and MAGA are willing to sacrifice children for a fake “right” that they twist into knots in order to keep their guns. Gun ownership is not a universal right. Also, when the constitution was written there were no automatic weapons! Or electricity or cars or indoor toilets. Is it possible that the writers of the constitution couldn’t see the future and realize how badly they wrote that document? Modern day society deserves an updated document that reflects the reality of our time. 🆘🇺🇸 #TikTokEncyclopediaContest #creatorsearchinsights

Replying to @sulsulasha Being married means evolving together. Staying the same as the day you got married is not a flex. Now it’s hard to grow together at exactly the same time. So, often there will be one partner that needs to kind of catch up or one partner that needs to pull the other along as the changes are happening. If one partner wants to move abroad, the hesitant partner owes it to the other to seriously consider that possibility. Replying to @valairianoctaviusstark False equivalencies drive me bonkers. For parents willing to traumatize kids with active shooter drills because gas prices are higher in another country, we are not the same. Never mind, there are countries where you don’t need a car. I didn’t have one for several years in Japan for example. You are just looking for excuses to justify your inaction. Discomfort of change is NOT the same as fear. Stop thinking of scouting trips as a necessary step of moving countries. The level of expense added is just one layer of the insanity of scouting trips. Mentally the scouting trip also does a number on you. There is just no good that comes from wasting time and resources on a scouting trip. By believing you need to take a scouting trip, you are simply delaying your decision on where to move. Your experience living in a place will be entirely un-related to any previous trips you have taken to that country or even that city. Replying to @nicolegarman5 You don’t need a remote job to become a digital nomad. Creating remote income is entirely within your control. The barrier you have to cross in order to create remote income is doing things you have never done. A lot of people struggle with the embarrassment of visibility or putting themselves out there in order to get clients. But, in order to create something you’ve never had before, you must do things you’ve never done before. In most cases people simply refuse to do countless things that could earn them remote income. That’s fine to have preferences on what you do, but if you refuse to do everything, you should stop claiming you want to become a digital nomad. 🆘🇺🇸 #TikTokEncyclopediaContest
