I was tagged by several of you in this video and something needed to be said. Apparently this is a Russian chiropractor. He has an entire page full of this kind of material. And what's more alarming is this isn't the only page or the only chiropractor that's doing this. As you can tell, he's just taking a mallet and literally using some sort of chisel to hammer away at her spinal column. This is extra dangerous because he's probably injuring these structures here, which are called the spinous processes. Just underneath those bony structures is the spinal cord represented by this red cord here. And if there's any sort of injury to that spinal cord, it will result in permanent paralysis. There's also a possibility that he could be creating a hematoma, which would then compress the spinal cord and likely necessitate a surgery. And then near the end of the treatment, he grabs a hold of her neck and starts to try to tell her to calm down and relax. He's speaking to her in Russian and he's basically fighting against her while choking her and trying to get her to calm down. Of course, it doesn't take a surgeon to realize that this is absolutely unacceptable. To be fair, I was told that this type of practice is not taught in the United States or in Canada. So clearly, this must be some sort of international practice. If you've ever been to a chiropractor, I want to know how your experience was. Leave a comment below and let me know.
