It's better to feel guilty than resentful. My therapist at this week, and as we're recovering, people please are trying to work on setting your boundaries and just saying no to doing things. This is such an important mindset. So let me break it down. Basically, it's better to say no to something, whether you don't have time for it, or just don't want to do it, and then feel like a little bit guilty for saying no, than doing something and then feeling resentful. Whether it's presenting the person, resenting the situation, or just like resenting yourself for saying yes and wishing you didn't. It's better to feel just a little bit bad than feel frustrated, angry, resentful, when you could have afforded these things altogether. This is your reminder to set boundaries and say no, and you need to, because that's okay. We're gonna work on this together.
