Those matchups with the great Michael Joder. He always tell me I didn't dunk on him. [LAUGHTER] Mike, he was in the frame, my guy. You can't say it was horror, is great. [LAUGHTER] My first game, I for I was against Chicago. My matchup, obviously, was Mike. I always tell the stories, like, he tried to post me up and I gave my elbow in the back. He looked at me and he looked down. Like, for the end of the game, you're going to be calling me Mr. Joder. [LAUGHTER] And so I, like, playing up having a good game. I ran, he was getting ready to walk off the court. I ran him to it. I said, you didn't get Mr. Joder down, up there. So we just kind of started from there. And I used to tell a Patrick man, don't come help. Don't come help. He said, if I don't come help, he go score. He goes score. [LAUGHTER] I like, I don't care. Let him score and let just shut everybody else down. Obviously, he didn't hit me for about 55, a few times. But if more of a competitive thing with him-- I always tell people this, he's the most balanced athlete that I ever played again. And one thing you knew about him, the game is never over with. Even when you think you got the game won, it's never over with him. Because he plays to the buzz. And that's something that I learned playing against him. And that was my mentality to play to the buzzer. You could just see it on guys' faces when they played against. You know what I mean? Because you knew he's going to do something special. Every single time I look at all the old tapes that we played in the games, they beat us. And I'm watching the plays that he made. I'm like, ooh, who makes those plays? Yeah. You know what I mean? Rather, it's hitting shots. Rather, it's making the correct passes. He always made the right play. And when he came back in the end of '95, I can remember watching the game before when he was playing against the Atlanta Hawks. And he hit the game when he shot. Then he goes down. Next game is against us. I'm like-- [BEEP] There was still a little part of you that thought like, well, he wasn't going to play baseball. I said, all right, maybe that guy's gone. But that game was-- No, no. You ain't saw it. He ain't saw it. How? He hit him in the bottom. He played in Scotty Pippin. It's a charity game. And this is the first time I got a chance to play with him. Scotty had put me and him on the same team. And Scotty had kind of like stacked his team a little bit. He scarced Scotty. I think he had like 50 some points. [BEEP] Yeah, that's what's wrong with Scotty. And told him, don't you ever [BEEP] stack the team against me again. It walked out the court. Oh, man. [BEEP] That's what makes him make a joke. [BEEP] All right, that's what Scotty kept talking about. [LAUGHTER] Come on back. Come on back. Come on back.
