Why do skyscrapers exist? Because when land gets expensive, developers stop spreading out and start building up. More space on the same footprint means more value. #realestate #newconstruction #investor #developer #greenscreen

The easiest way for developers to make more money isn't building bigger. It's building taller. Most people think bigger lots make developers more money. But smaller lots can actually be a lot more valuable. That's why cities build skyscrapers because building wider, your costs grow very quickly. More foundation, more roof costs, higher land costs. But if you build up, you're the same foundation and same footprint, but more sellable square feet. So that's why in development, sometimes building up is better than building out.
