What if you had the Infinity Gauntlet in Ancient Greece? Day 1. You arrive in Athens at the peak of its glory. Marble temples glowing in the sun. Socrates debating other philosophers in the streets. You go to buy food in the market. The vendor holds out his hand for payment. You tap the gauntlet and a pile of gold coins drop into his palm. He thinks you're a god. Day 3. Word spreads overnight. Farmers line up at your door with empty hands. You raise the gauntlet and it rains for the first time in months. A sick child is carried to you. You snap your fingers. The girl walks. The priest tear down the statue of Zeus and start building one of you. You power your gauntlet instead and the statue builds itself. Day 5. Zeus is angry.
