Top skincare products Koreans actually use… Just kidding. I’m not Korean so I honestly have no idea 😂 But while walking through Olive Young, these were some products that caught my eye as someone who works in beauty manufacturing. Thought they were pretty interesting 🙌🏻 สกินแคร์อะไรขายดีในเกาหลี?! ไม่แน่ใจแต่นี่คือบางชิ้นที่อิ๊งว่าน่าสนใจดีนะ 🤔🇰🇷 #skincare #beauty #sunscreen #cleanser #moisturize

Here are some products that Koreans actually use just kidding I'm not Korean and god knows it's none of my business but I do work in skincare formulation and these are some products that I find interesting that I will be packing home with me. The first one is Centella and 24 Madeca Cream. They're manufactured by Donco Pharmaceuticals. The four fathers of Centella Ageatica extract, they've been making Centella since the 1960s. One of the first people to really popularize this ingredient. They started off extracting Centella for medical use in the hospitals. In 2015 they came up with this brand and used the same extract but this time in skincare. When you work in manufacturing especially in natural plant extraction, you realize very quickly not all natural extracts are created equal. So it's one of the brands that I really trust for Centella. Korean moisturizers are usually quite heavy and leave that glass skin finish but this is one that I really enjoy for hot and humid climates. It's called the Numbusin Pantothetic B-Fact Active Soothing Cream. I've actually dissected this in my lab before. We use really expensive lab equipments to measure the hydration and the oil control of this product. Turns out it's very hydrating and doesn't leave the skin greasy during the day. I have never in my years seen so many clinical studies done on a single cleanser product. This V-plane Mung Bean Cleanser has like five different clinical studies. They tested its cleansing ability on fine particulate matter and even tested its ability to soothe skin which is very impressive for a cleanser that's only on your face for a couple of seconds. And the base is made from glycerin which is a humectant that I love to see in a cleanser especially in a high concentration. It helps to reduce the harshness of these surfactants. So everyone's been talking about this beauty of show sun sunscreen and this round lab sunscreen but for me the real gem is actually hidden right here. It's very lightweight and it's not as duly as a lot of Korean sunscreens that I've tried before. They only use the newer generation filters including mixed soil as sex with this from L'Oreal. They were the ones who created it but they've been gatekeeping it for so long and round labs formulated with it very beautifully. Comment which ones you've tried and whether you like them or not.
