most people that say they want to change their lives are not serious they don't know what they're talking about but in all of that noise there's a set of people that genuinely serious about changing their lives if you're in this set and you want to be completely or recognizable in the next six months to one year take it from someone that has done it there is only one thing you need to come to terms with only one and it's this you need to enter what I call a dark horse face or a dark horse error in very simple terms it's an error of hyper imbalance where you give yourself either six months or one year depending on the level you're currently at and where you're starting from when you give yourself this period of time you add the fourteen that period of time to take drastic measures that will ensure that you are getting out of your comfort zone on a daily basis you're doing things that would normally make your cringe those things you have been procrastinating for the future you map out a system that will ensure you are taking daily steps no matter how small there's nothing like work-life balance in this phase there's nothing like that you're going to fall seek many times your health could suffer there are many days you'll be going to sleep by three a.m. I have to be up by six a.m. It is the phase you have to go through because you're starting from nothing come to terms with the reality of your life if you are not born rich you have to do this you don't have the connections I have a friend I recently just traveled to Canada last year for an opportunity in 2023 this brother wasn't tears because he wanted to go to the UK but they denied his visa he didn't have anybody to call in 2024 he decided it was going to be the end of that cycle he applied for a visa to another country where he got an opportunity they denied him again this time he called people out on LinkedIn he started tagging government agencies and showing receipts of his work as a top talent and his plea was that Nigeria should not happen to him so that he doesn't lose this opportunity eventually these people he called out online came to his rescue two days before the trip that was fully sponsored they turned up for him and gave him his visa as he got to Canada he met certain people that we are now mentioning his name in big rooms that will completely change the trajectory of his life listen he couldn't just sit at home and do PT party this was a fight for his life and for you it is a fight for your life many of you are skillless you have no skill whatsoever to start building the life of your dreams stop feeling sorry for yourself make the required sacrifice to get the skills that you need entire dark horse fees that is what is going to set you apart for the long run
