So something that I think isn't talked about enough is forming new neural connections in the brain and not just in the traditional way of Habit forming, although that is important. By the way, ignore this writing at the top. But first off, what is interesting to know is that when you have more Connections within your brain going on more synaptic connections, aka you have think of it kind of like having bonds that are all Together working together. It's like you become more resilient against things like Alzheimer's Essentially your brain is stronger when things are moving together and working together as one. And this is like proven You can look this up to greater synaptic density more protected against functional decline associated with these eases like Alzheimer's. And then what memories are our memories are experiences that trigger signals that strengthen connections between synapses between neurons. So essentially the morning memories that you create the more synaptic connections you create and Yes, once again having a routine and walking that routine every day and doing things consistently can build very deep connections. This is why people often like even if they do have Alzheimer's they might still remember a specific thing like they can still play music or something That's because it's like ingrained deep and they're subconscious. Think of it kind of like the deeper you plant something the longer it will last. But then many people tend to lose other parts of themselves like remembering like family members or Remembering just like how to do simple things or whatever it is. What I find again the most interesting is that When you start to form connections in the way of doing novel things as in just like doing something completely out of your routine or starting to learn a new thing You start to build complex new connections in ways that are Much stronger like they form connections that are much stronger than would be formed by just doing everyday activities on repeat Like repetitive things stimulates a higher level of neuroplasticity as I wrote down And this is something that I've literally said for so long to everyone that I can ever talk to about this is that if you are someone who is constantly Curious if you're constantly learning and you're open to new things and you're trying new things like you will keep your brain Younger because you're forming more complex connections in your brain and the more complex connections that you form the harder they are to break down Think of it also like if you've ever seen the movie inception in that movie where they have to plant that seed sort of like that thought inside that guy's brain And they have to make sure that it is basically planted deep enough It is in his subconscious for him to think that it's his own idea So essentially it's kind of like you have to create a maze that's complex enough that the guy won't be able to figure it out Or nowhere came from the same thing is with you like the deeper you can plant something in your subconscious with the more complex ideas You can hold or or the more you know different things that you're curious about or interested in or learning about like Basically the more connections that you're forming your brain and the more complex web that you can form and then you become more and more resistant to these types of diseases that can basically You know break down this web of connections within you and it's funny because I think everything in life works the same way It's like you know things are stronger together like they work strong. They're better together, right? Just like a solid foundation that has you know many many pillars like I said another video would be stronger than one that's just built on one pillar Your brain is constantly forming new connections But it also prunes away the old ones that are not being used anymore But if you start to build more complex patterns within your brain as in again You are open to new things you try new things like you create new memories Like you know those people to talk about disrupting your day and doing something you would never normally do That is what creates new pathways within your brain in neuroplasticity In levels that regular every day routine can't do and plus if you just have a regular every day routine They do every single day. That's just normal every day tasks like maybe one day That is the things that you remember but are those really the things that you want to remember long-term like I always think like the things that I want to remember long-term Are like my family my friends you know like making memories with them and And I'm not saying like this is the cause of everything But just if you want to help you know keep yourself younger longer like inside out Then this is a way to do it is do novel things try new things stay curious stay learning stay open and yeah
