Five things you should pray for every day. Number one, thanksgiving. The book of Festelosonians chapter 5, 18 declares in all things give thanks. So before you go about your day, express your gratitude to God for your health, your life, your family, and all that you have. Of course you might not be where you want to be, but guess what? You are not where you use to be. Life might not be going your way, but the fact that you are still alive and have your sense intact, that on its own is enough reason to give thanks. If you can think, you can think what prayer brings wisdom will keep, but thanksgiving will multiply. This is something that you should also teach your children that appreciation is qualification for multiplication. To give thanks, number two, guidance, seek guidance from God. For making the right decisions, Proverbs 3, verse 5 and 6, declares trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all things acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. If you want to find yourself in greener pastures, ask God to guide you. And one thing about God guiding a person is that whoever he guides, he leads and whoever he leads, he protects. Number three, strength, health and protection, pray for strength to face daily challenges and overcome obstacles, declare good health and protection over yourself and your loved ones. Second, Palestinians chapter 3, verse 3, declares, but the Lord is faithful and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. Because every time you wake up, every day you wake up, land to reverse the plans of the enemy, declare that you are protected from the wickedness of men, you are protected from the plans of the enemy, you are protected from them that wish you evil. Number four, and this one is my favorite, tell God you are ready to be used by him. And God wants to use a person, he does not look for ability, but he looks for availability and willingness. So every time you make yourself available, God will use you. Remember, he does not call the qualified, but he qualifies the ones he calls. Whenever you make yourself available, for God to use you, God himself will capacitate you and you will be surprised, lives will be transformed because of you. So make yourself available by telling him, I'm ready to be used by you. Number five, wisdom, James 15 declares, if any of you likes wisdom, he should ask God who gives generously without finding fault and he will give it to him. One thing about wisdom is that it will cost you to find yourself in right places at the right time. You will automatically know what to do, who to do it with, when to do it and how to do it with. Because the book of Proverbs will say wisdom is a principle thing, so never start your day without praying for these five things.
