you can love someone but not be good for them and someone can love you but not be right for you because they don't have the other emotional skills that make love stay. Love's not enough. You need emotional maturity. You need personal mastery. You need self-control. You need compassion. You need empathy. There is so much more needed to make love last. And so a lot of us are going to lose love because we didn't develop those other skills.
