I want to chat with my content creators and influencers. I've been getting some questions about my virtual assistant. So I wanted to address those, but I also just wanted to tell you to get a virtual assistant. Okay, 2026. Let's set some new goals, right? New Year's resolutions. Let's make 2026 the best year your business has ever seen. Okay, for me that was 2025. Because I finally took the leap of faith and got the virtual assistant. My virtual assistant has taken my business from here to here. With minimal effort from me. And the pay that I pay her is minimal compared to the money that she brings me. It is wild. If you don't know I'm talking about a virtual assistant is someone that is not in person, but that does the tasks that you don't have time to do. And we know that time is money, right? That is proven. And being a content creator is hard. Now don't get me twisted. I'm not saying that my job is harder than your job as a nurse or a teacher or anything like that. I'm just saying people don't realize how much work and time goes into being a content creator until you're actually doing it. So for all of you who are starting and you're like wanting to take this journey, you learn very quickly how time consuming this job is. It's not just filming a video and posting it on TikTok or so much more to it. Once you do get the video out there, then you have comments to respond to. Not just the comments, but then you have direct messages from both followers and from brands. That in itself is a lot. Then you have your email. I get hundreds of emails every day. It is mind blowing. Most of it is garbage, but you don't know what's garbage until you go through your email. I was getting so overwhelmed at one point, I just stopped checking my email 'cause I was like, this is wild and I can't do this. That was like the first task. I had my virtual assistant tackle for me. She has full control over my business email now. Full control. She goes through it all. She sorts out the crap. She sends me the stuff that I'm supposed to respond to. She does all the negotiating. So when brands come to me and ask if I'm interested in promoting a product, she knows the stuff I'm interested in and the stuff I'm not interested in. So she gets that all out of the way. Then she sends them my media kit. What she created, she created a media kit for me. If you don't know what that is, it's like a PDF with my face, my pictures, all my stats, right? Why would this brand want to work with me? And what do I charge? She sends it to them. She negotiates if we get a deal, they send the contract. Okay, that was the original question. Do you have contracts to send brands? The brand will have their legal team create the contract. Then they send it to you. So what she does is she reviews the contract to make sure there's no funny business, make sure it is what we in fact discuss and they're not trying to sneak anything in there because brands will do that. They will try get more out of you than they are telling you they're going to. She does that. Once the contract is ready, she says, here you go, sign it. She sends it to them. She does it all. And then she takes my video and she puts it on the other platforms. So on TikTok is easy, right? There's a little link right down here where people can just click to buy. Very easy if it's something they're interested in. You can't do that. You can't post that video on Instagram. There's no word for them to shop. So she sets up all the automated messaging so that if someone requests the link, it gets sent to them. Now I got people shopping on all the platforms that is incredible. So when I say that she has taken my business from here to here, so slick. So the company I do this through is called Nexus Point. They are the ones that match creators with the virtual assistants. So you don't have to go out there looking for people. They do all of the vetting, all of the training, all of the things. I just got a few people to interview. They helped me interview her.
