Sometimes when life gets hard, you just gotta go back to your roots. I don't know about you, but for me growing up, hamburger helper was one of those comfort meals. And I honestly don't know what my suburban son's know about hamburger helper, but they requested it for dinner show tonight. We make it some bougie hamburger helper, aka homemade. Over the past week or so, your girl has been sober and doubtful cooking, coming up with meals to cook and just getting an occasion in general every single day has just been feeling like such a drag lately. We have eaten out way more than I'd like to admit. But one thing I can always rely on is a good old pasta dish or a one pot meal. And this right here is both. And I know I hate both all my meals and recipes job, but when I tell y'all, this was so good. It did kind of have that nostalgic taste of like box hamburger helper, but it was on another level like gourmet hamburger helper, y'all, I promise. And just like a lot of the recipes I share, this one is not my own y'all. I got this one off of TikTok, so I'll be sure to include the name of the creator. This video is actually from last week. I'm just not getting around to editing and y'all, I'm making this dish again tonight. So that tells you right there just how good it is. And I'm sorry, your girl don't do no measuring. I literally measure with my heart. So I'm gonna have to put all the estimates down in the caption, but y'all, when I tell you you gotta try this recipe, the whole family will love it, the kids will love it. And that's another reason why I love one pot dishes and pasta dishes 'cause I feel like they're usually just super family friendly. But I started with some garlic bread on some paper plates. Yes, paper plates 'cause nobody trying to watch dishes. And if I can use paper pots and pans, trust me, I would. But y'all, save this video and try out this recipe. And as always, come back and let me know how you like it.
