Japan's newest billionaire is 32 years old and of course used AI to make an old process more efficient and one that's worth a sh*t ton of money, his story is super dope so let's cover it. Keep in mind that he's studied biology and agriculture in school and has some pretty diverse experience as a fashion designer, software developer and marketing officer. He started an e-commerce store and tutoring firm before his big success at 25. With a woman's fashion and makeup business, it was called alpaca, I've never heard of it but hey kudos to him. In 2017, a pure agency ends up buying that business from him but he finds that process to be super long and inefficient and this is what leads him to create an AI algorithm that matches buyers and sellers and also simplifies all of the administrative paperwork and stuff. So not only did he find a problem through his own experience but he also considered that in Japan there is an aging population one where business owners who are retiring are unable to find viable successors for their profitable businesses thus having to close them down and also lose millions of jobs. While a solution, it was to build an extensive database to make matchmaking a lot easier and also have advisors on his team that would help with the negotiation process and cut that time down to as little as six months. He's also expanded now into asset management guiding those that he has served as on helping them invest there and newfound wealth literally creating a full circle of cash flow for himself. But the key takeaway to his story is imagine if he would have stopped trying at his first or second venture. Think about it all that time that he spent doing various roles in learning new skills finally paid off when he stumbled upon an idea that actually was death and for growth but it's almost always never the first thing that you do.
