If you are not a cat owner then you can continue scrolling Hi guys, my name is Amir and I'm a veterinarian and these are four affordable yet good quality cat foods that I would feed my cat If I had one so the first food is Neutrified Genesis guys. This is such an underrated cat food They have such good certification, which ensures that they have consistent good quality standards and they cost us only 77 ran for a KG and the ingredients guys so the first ingredient is dehydrated chicken protein So this is really good. It's an animal protein source and as I've said before cats are obligated carnivores So they need animal protein. They've then got rice corn and corn gluten So there is some corn in there I'm not gonna hold that against them because they do have rice before it Which is definitely a better carbohydrate. They also have a nice mix of ostrich fats and salmon oil So adding omega-3 and omega-6 fat diet It would have been nice to see a few more animal protein sources But at 77 ran for a KG. This is unbelievably good most of the foods that are above 100 ran a KG are not as good as this And the ingredients are not as specific as this So I'm very impressed with this food guys so next is feline cuisine So this food meets Afco standards meaning that it is a complete and balanced diet And they also have good certification ensuring that the quality coming out from the factory is good and this food is gonna cost you guys about 100 ran for a KG and the ingredients guys so the first ingredient is chicken and the second is rice So that's really good that the first is a protein source and at the second is rice out of all the grains rice is the better one And they've got no wheat in there. So wheat is usually the grain that causes gut intolerance So it's really nice that they've worked that out of the ingredients list and they've got three animal protein sources So they've got the chicken they've got the fish and fish derivatives with a minimum 4% fresh salmon So there is salmon in there and then they've got meat and bone meal now you guys know I don't usually like the term meat meal because that can be so vague it can be really any meat But the fact that that is only one ingredient out of three animal protein sources That's still really good because there are three animal protein sources in there So this diet is definitely worth trying out guys and third is Montego Peru guys I really like this food. So it meets Afco regulations meaning that it is a balanced diet and it also has really good factory Certification meaning that the product that comes out of the factory is good quality and consistent Every time and this food is gonna cost you about 120 ran for a KG and the ingredients guys So the first is chicken meal so it's really good. It's an animal protein source and the second is rice So what they've done with this food is they've eliminated both corn and wheat and there's just rice as the grain Which is really good most foods are still using corn and wheat in their diets They've then got lamb liver lamb heart chicken fat. So they're very specific about their ingredients And they're using multiple protein sources They've got chicken they've got lamb they've got egg powder so many different proteins also going into this cat diet Which is really good and they're very specific about all of the ingredients if you look at that So they're nice and open which means that something you can usually trust and then they've also got rosemary extract Which is a natural antioxidant. You're tried to avoid those synthetic antioxidants at all costs and next is a carna Which is going to cost you about 275 ran for a KG now. I know this food is significantly more expensive than the others But guys this is quality like if you have the money to be able to afford it A carna and origin provide quality and ingredients that are on a whole other level to most of the other foods that are on the market today So these are definitely good buys if you can afford it and just look at these ingredients guys So the first is salmon then you've got salmon meal then you've got catfish meal and several other fish sources of protein Six in total guys that is six sources of animal protein high quality ingredients This is so different to the other brands if you guys have been paying attention to what I've been posting the last few days And as you guys can see they've also eliminated the need of corn wheat and gluten Now they've got whole green lentils they've got chickpeas So they've got other ingredients that are a little bit more expensive but much more nutrient dense They've also got such a nice list of superfoods that they've added to their diet probiotics, prebiotics They also use only natural antioxidants so no artificial antioxidants And as you guys know artificial antioxidants have been linked to causing cancer As you guys can see a carna is on a different level and so is origin But these are very expensive diets but I have some very exciting news They will be releasing a new brand and that's in South Africa that is cheaper While still using really good high quality super ingredients And that is going to be coming live soon so I will be posting on that in the next few days So stay tuned for that
