This is the most common ingredient in the veterinary cat hairball medication. Standard cat does a half a teaspoon twice a day. Most cats take this really well. Number two, castor oil. It's a great natural lactative and it will lubricate the hair having it move through your cat. It's very safe. I've used it in many cats. Standard cat does a quarter of a teaspoon for 10 pounds of body weight twice a day. Number three, coconut oil. The coconut oil lubricates the hair helping move it through.
