In Invincible, after Mark is saved by Thrag, from Alan, Thrag immediately asks why he shouldn't just slaughter Alan and Oliver right now. Alan whips out the scourge virus which is capable of killing Thrag, however the grand regent is unfazed. Gritting his teeth as he tells Alan that he has no idea the restraint he's exercising by not just killing Alan to see his big eye pop out, and instead, Alan disrespects him with the same virus that made his world a tomb. Alan explains it's an even deadlier version than before, but Thrag says he could still separate his head from his body before the virus affects him. In Invincible tries to calm things down, and tells Alan he should just leave now since Thrag knows of his plan. However Thrag proposes a truce, lecturing Alan that he's only acting on impulse due to his duty as the leader of the coalition which is clouding his judgment. He proposes that the Viltramites will live on Earth peacefully, so long as Alan doesn't attempt to kill them with the virus. Oliver doesn't agree, but Alan knows he has no choice and sides with Thrag. Suddenly the Guardians of the Globe turn up, Mark says they can leave as he's handling the situation, but since Mark is a fugitive on Earth, they want him to come back to the Pentagon. Obviously Mark declines prompting a battle, but the Guardians have no idea who Thrag is. Monster Girl goes for the Grand Regent severely underestimating him, whilst Mark begs for her to stop since he'll kill her, and Thrag destroys her with ease whilst shouting, "You attack the one who has just saved your planet? Have you gone mad?" Mark begs him not to kill any of them, but as everyone is distracted, Oliver flies to Alan grabbing the virus off him as Alan yells for him to stop. Mark pleads for Thrag to not hurt them, but Thrag says, "My patience only goes so far. He's so tough." Anyways, Mark notices Oliver flying with the Scourge virus to Earth and chases after him. Find out what'll happen in the next part.
