In the music industry, there's a constant dilemma of quality versus quantity. Which one do you strategize? Which one do you lean more towards? Is it a balance between quality and quantity? Now I'm talking about music marketing, posting songs, making music, everything across the board. Which one do you lean into? Quality or quantity? And for me, I personally lean towards quality. But let me tell you why I think accidentally quantity turns into quality and how that works. People who focus on music marketing, quantity, over-quality, they'll post every single day. Sometimes three times a day, and they don't care. Output is everything. Why I think this sometimes works is if you're making 50 different videos and post and post and posting like crazy, you're just making so many videos that accidentally you actually make quality videos because the videos get better every single time you post. The more videos you make, the better they're going to get. So my theory is you can actually take that approach with music making and with music marketing, making as many videos as possible, making as many songs as possible. But then drafting them. You don't need to post them. You could just refine your craft, refine your skill of music making, of content making. And then once you've made so many songs or videos that you feel like you've gotten better and better and better and better and you feel like it's quality, then you can post it. And now your output is actually quality over quantity, but your input is quantity over quality, I guess. So that is my theory of why quality over quantity and why quantity sometimes works.
