I assume they learned it from their dad

When I see a man treat a woman like shit, I assume that he had a dad and treated his mom like shit. He grew up seeing the dad not give mom a hug, not give mom a kiss, not get mom flowers, yell at her treat her like garbage. I don't know if that's how they grew up, but that's my assumption, because when I see my son mirroring my behavior, hugs kisses by mom flowers, he's getting that from me. He's seeing my positive reinforcement in the household, and then mirroring how I treat his mom. So I can assume as he grows up, he's going to treat women well based off of how he is treating his mother. You need to be the walking example for your children if you want them to grow up and treat other people well.
