A first-dimensional being lives on a line. It can only move forward or backward. It has no idea what up or down even means. To it, the universe is just one path. Now imagine a second-dimensional being. It lives on a flat plane, like a drawing on paper. It sees shapes, outlines, movement. But if you reached your hand into that world, it would only see a cross-section of your fingers, never understanding your full 3D shape. That's us to the next dimension. We're the third-dimensional beings, able to see and touch everything the two-dimensional world can't. But if a fourth-dimensional being looked at us, it wouldn't just see the outside of our bodies. It would see every angle, every organ, every second of our lives at once, our past, our future, our entire timeline, all laid out together, like pages of a book. And just like the 2D world can't comprehend depth, maybe we'll never truly comprehend time. Because in the end, we might not live in three dimensions. We might just be trapped in the only one we can see.
