In this video, I'd like to share two tricks that I use for speaking that will increase your confidence because it will help you think faster and speak more clearly. Let's go. Number one, thinking faster. Imagine a situation where somebody asks you a question and you are unprepared. What happens in that situation is you kind of ramble everything or you freeze because you have nothing to say or you don't know what to say. So in order for that to not happen, you have to think faster. You got to know what to say about any topic that comes up. So how do you do that? I like to use what I call the 123 method. One specific thing, two extend, three example. Let's say we have to talk about a pen because I have a pen. One specific thing. So we can choose one thing to talk about this pen. The pen is black, two extend. So when I extend, I will extend two things about the pen. The pen is black. I don't know where I get this from, but I do really like it because it's very convenient to write and it's also kind of cheap and three example. So I'm going to give some example, maybe how I use it or when I use it. For example, the other day, I had to take some notes and this is the only pen I have. So I took the notes with this pen and I find that it's very smooth, something like that. Let's say an orange, one specific thing. We're going to find one specific thing to talk about the orange. The orange is kind of big, two extend, I'm going to extend two things to talk about the orange. I usually eat smaller ones, but it's not too bad to try a new one. And oranges are good for health. Now I extended two things and number three example. For example, a friend of mine was sick and the doctor said she needed some vitamin C. So I gave her some oranges so that she get vitamin C and luckily, yeah, she got better. So if you use the one, two, three method, I think you can literally talk about any topic that comes up and you will always have something to say. And this method will actually help you think faster. Number two, speaking clearly. So when I speak, I try to focus on the pronunciation and simple words. Sometimes I might not have the best pronunciation or the perfect pronunciation. So what I try to do is I try to speak slower and I'm careful with the endings. For example, the SD and T and so on. And by speaking slowly, I feel that my words become clearer in a sense. Also I try to use simple sentences because they're easier to understand. Speak slower. Be careful with the endings and try to use easy and simple sentences. So yeah, that's it for today. Thank you for learning and see you in the next one. Bye bye.
