Let me save you some money. I get asked all the time about the rebound meta glasses, which one should I get? Gen 1, Gen 2? Let me break it down super quick, 'cause I have both. Gen 1 less expensive. Both Gen shoot amazing videos, shoot amazing photos, have the same meta AI. In both of them, you can just say hey meta, take a photo, hey meta, start recording, or you can just touch this button. Camera in the Gen 2 is a little bit better of a camera, but honestly, I don't see much of a difference. I have done so many tests, and I really can't tell. Battery life, Gen 1 lasts four hours. If you're using them consistently, Gen 2 lasts eight. But I have to say with the Gen 1s, I've never run out of charge. They both charge in the case right here, and it charges back to full in like 70 minutes. I love that I can just carry this around with me and recharge in minutes. Both glasses shoot in hyperlapse and slow mo, which is awesome. Can you get a prescription in them? Yep, in either one. These are the Gen 1 Skylars and the shiny black, you can see the shiny, and these are the Gen 2 in the matte black with the polarized lenses. I have to say I love the matte black. Skylars have a little bit more of a cat-eyed, more feminine feel. The wayfarer style like this, Unisex. I have the regular and wayfarer too, just love 'em. Are they heavy? A lot of people ask me, well, these are my regular glasses, so I'm pretty used to wearing chunky glasses. So I do not find these heavy at all, but I'm gonna keep it real. If you're used to wearing like lighter glasses, these might feel a little bit heavy to you. The best feature of both these glasses is meta AI, and like I said, it uses the same. You can ask meta to look at something, identify a transient language, look at ingredients you have on the counter, what can you make for dinner? If you are driving and you wanna say, hey meta, where's the closest coffee shop? Not only does it tell you, but it also sends it directly to your maps app. I love, love, love the fact that you can listen to music and take phone calls completely hands-free. I can be washing dishes and talking to my mom at the same time, completely hands-free. When you're listening to music, you're the only one they can hear it. You can still hear what's going on around you. I was laying out at the beach with the sun he's on, and I could still hear if someone was approaching me. That's a great safety feature. When you have ear pressure in your ear, all of that noise is actually blocked out. These leave your ears open and you can hear what's going on around you. It's bone-conducting speakers, love that. So both glasses are absolutely amazing. I love having both, but if someone asks me, I'm gonna actually tell them that Gen 1's price where they're at, that's the way to go.
