All right welcome to part three on how to film like a top 1% affiliate in part one. We covered video formats in part two We covered hooks and for part three we're hitting on editing which in my opinion is a super important one Now I briefly teed this up in part one so because of that I'm going to use the same three affiliates. I used as examples in part one for part three watch this That was a close one everywhere that you look this thing is ribbed look at that and I almost missed it These sold out last summer and I couldn't get one whether you're wearing linen pants or shorts or jeans I watch this one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve pieces in this gorgeous ninja never-doll knife set That they literally just marked way down and now watch this black brown green and gray You're getting four oversized acid wash teas for the price of one and these have been flying off the shelves like crazy I think we can all agree that all those videos have a very high quality feel and there's a lot of different factors that go into why that is But in my opinion a very big reason why those videos keep us engaged and keep us watching is because like I talked about in part one They keep it fast and they keep it moving but they're editing is as crisp and clean as possible There is no dead space there are no words getting cut off too early no clips drag on for even a split second too long Now I'm going to show exactly how to do this But here's why it matters and why I'm so picky about this with my own shop videos A while back I got some advice from an affiliate who has done over seven figures in commission and they said We need to make the video as easy to watch as possible attention on tiktok is very fragile And if there's any sort of friction people scroll but when you have very clean and crisp editing The video feels effortless to watch so how do we do that step one download cap cut desktop You can do the free version trust me. This is going to make your life ten times easier step two import your footage I just air drop it over and then drag it down So once you have your footage in you're going to go to this button right here that says transcript And now over here it's going to pull up your entire transcript of what you were saying throughout that clip And you can actually see right over here where it says your pause is I pause for point zero seven seconds I can now select that and delete it You can also scroll right up here where it says remove filler words It highlights all of them and then you hit remove now the other reason cap cut desktop is so superior is because of these audio spikes down here This is exactly when I stop talking and this is exactly when I start talking again And with our editing like we were saying we want this transition between these two to be as clean as possible So because of those audio spikes I can click exactly where that cuts off Split it then select exactly where it starts again Split it again select this clip and then delete it And now the transition between these two clips is going to be as seamless as possible Will there be a learning curve when transitioning from editing a tiktok to something like cap cut desktop? Yes, of course, but I promise you when you get the hang of this it makes editing 10 times faster and 10 times cleaner
