So if you sleep on your satin, you have pain in your neck, your upper back, your shoulder, your low back, or even the hip, your pillow might be the reason. Regular pillows don't give your neck the proper support, so it's relatively floating all night. So when you wake up in the morning, those muscles around your neck, like the upper traps, the SCM, the levator scap, they're going to be feeling sore from not having that proper support. Regular pillows also don't have a place for you to put your arm to prevent your shoulder from being compressed, so that leads to some of the pain that you might feel in the morning. Lastly, if your pillow is too high or too low, it can become very easy for your spine to become misaligned, and you can see how those pain points become more exaggerated here around the neck, the mid back, the low back, and then even the hip.
