Surflatch tickets this year range from $300 to $800 for the July weekend So here are places to go out of Montauk instead of paying $300 plus dollars to go to Surflatch. Okay, we are starting off with Boralumi, which is new to Montauk this year It is a hotel. They're also going to have a restaurant and then they have a lot of DJ programming and throughout the summer Along with a pop-up with Rakos where they're going to do World Cup viewing if you're not familiar They have a restaurant in New York and it's from the LDV hospitality group who always does a really nice job with anything that they do Next we have Chelsea living room, which is taking over Gernie's this summer If you're not familiar Gernie's is always a destination both as a hotel to stay at but also a going out spot And Chelsea living room has also become really popular to go out to socialize to meet someone cute in New York cities So this is a very exciting pop-up this year Then we have Mary Lou's which actually opened last summer I will say I've heard kind of mixed things about it Some people really liked it some people thought it was really small Some people thought it was easy to get into some people felt like it was really complicated or they had to buy a table And it was expensive it is also a restaurant So I would maybe have dinner here and then kind of mingle afterward Then we have Palma Day Club, which is a good option for like an afternoon kind of party vibe They do it at Montauk Beach House, which is right by the beach It's also by bounce beach if you want to do a two-for-one and it's just your classic kind of outdoor party with a DJ vibe You do have to get tickets, but they are cheaper than Surflinche Next we have Talia, which is a restaurant from the Mason Closed team It is definitely like a party restaurant But on Thursdays they're open until 2 a.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays they're open until 3 a.m. So I see this becoming kind of a night going out spot after dinner service And if you're doing like a share house or a birthday or some like large group dinner I feel like this is a good option for that And then if we're talking about party restaurants, I obviously have to include Baguetteau I don't know that it's necessarily like a going out destination I think that's to be seen But it's a good kind of brunch like daytime option if you want to do a meal that turns it into a little bit of a party Or for dinner if you just want your night out to be like a really fun dinner, I would go here I mean they're like the OG party restaurant internationally Next we have Montauquette, which is so stunning at sunset I will say the past couple years it has gone extremely packed and there are huge lines So if you want to go here, go early and make this your destination If you see a long line, don't wait a night Then we have Bounce Beach, you can do this in the afternoon But I think it's better at night as kind of you're like final going out spot Clasic, kind of club vibes, they do table service, there's an upstairs and downstairs And it is on the beach The space isn't on the beach like you don't get access to it from Bounce But you can see the beach from it And then a place that I was obsessed with when I first opened and now definitely gets lines is Montauquette project Definitely get some surfflags spill over, you do want to come in the earlier side, don't wait in line But another good option for socializing Happy Memorial Day weekend and good luck out there Also there are a couple more options for going out and Montauquette But I didn't include them because we need to preserve them and I am going to do a little bit of gatekeeping So if you know what I'm talking about, don't put them in the comments, keep them as a safe space
