In 1290, all Jews were kicked out of England. In 1306, they were expelled from France. In 1430, exiled from Germany, followed by Spain and Portugal. They were also driven out of Russia, boycotted in Italy, and time after time tossed out of every major European city. But why? At a time when Christians were studying physics, art and astronomy, the Muslims focused on maths, medicine and poetry. But the Jewish community, from cousins and uncles, to neighbors and friends, disproportionately worked in finance. Reba and Usheri banned interest, which gave the Jews a monumental advantage. Wherever they settled, centuries of financial knowledge plus interest allowed them to prosper tremendously. To the point, they would own most important assets within every empire. This meant kings and peasants alike all borrowed from the Jews. And when crisis hit the empire, repayment was no longer an option.
