If you're an affiliate and you're not making money, I want to ask you this question, okay? And if you follow me, you follow me because I honestly, I don't sugarcoat things. I don't. I say it like it is. I'm not everybody's cup of tea and that's okay. But I want to ask you this question. Every day that you show up, is it easy? And if the answer is yes, then I'm going to tell you that's probably why you're not succeeding as a TikTok shop affiliate. You're not succeeding in life at all. Because if everything is easy and you're never getting uncomfortable, you're never really going to grow. What I see all the time as a coach and someone that audits accounts in and day, I just got done doing 20 of them. People keep showing up the same way, holding that product and talking about the features. Don't nobody care about the daggum features, okay? You've got to connect emotionally with people. That's just how it is. If you want to make that sale, you've got to connect with people on an emotional level. It's not about the nice cinema. It's not about the hyaluronic acid. It's about what that skincare does to that mom that looks in the mirror and has wholly lost herself. You should be making content every day that makes you want to cringe. You just literally want to crawl in a hole and you don't even want to be there anymore because you can't believe that you stepped out of your comfort zone so much and you did that. And here's the deal. I'm not tech savvy nor will I ever be. I will never have the sharpets of edits, the sharpets of cuts. But what I do know is I know how to connect with people and that's why I sell the sale. Sadly in the world that we live in, we have to keep people's attention. We just do. And if you are just standing in front of the camera with no movement, with no interrupts, with no good hook, with not a pain point, you are never going to convert. I just see so much negativity in the affiliate marketing space as TikTok shop affiliates and I just want that to go away. Nobody ever said that this was going to be easy. Nobody ever said that every month was going to be good. Nobody ever said you're always going to have have views. Nobody said that. A lot of people just are entitled and you feel like because you showed up for a little bit of time that you just deserve a ton of money. That's not the case. If you do not master the skill set of affiliate marketing, I don't care what you do, how hard you work, how consistent you are, it's not going to matter. And the truth is, listen, ain't nothing easy that is worth doing. Everything worth doing that has an amazing reward is going to be hard. So if every day you show up and it's easy, my challenge is for you to get uncomfortable.
