How can you love yourself when you don't even know which version of you is real? Everyone says only you can truly understand yourself. But how can you understand something that changes depending on who's watching? You have one version for family, another for friends, another for work, another for strangers. When you're alone, you're not sure who that person is. You've created so many versions that you've lost track of the real you. When someone asks who you are, you describe these performances. But that's not you, that's just you adapting. The truth is you only know yourself through the roles you play. You define yourself by how others see you, not by who you actually are. Because without an audience, you don't know who to be. How can you understand yourself when yourself is just whatever version you're performing? The real you might not exist outside of these performances.
