As children we fear the dark because we don't know what works beyond it. We fear the unknown. We fear creatures from other realms appearing at night. We know what it looks like during the day, but when we don't have light to illuminate that same room it becomes filled with our deepest and darkest fears. Is that not just a reflection of one's own mind? I have nothing to fear. I do not fear myself. Nor do I fear death.
