Nobody needs to know you move to a new house. Nobody needs to know you bought a new car. Nobody needs to know you're earning more or that you got a promotion at work. Nobody needs to know you paid off your debts and that things have finally started falling into place for you. Nobody needs to know. Happiness is not something you share with just anyone. Don't forget that. The truth is there are plenty of people who follow you, who congratulate you, who call themselves your friends, but deep down, they don't actually want what's best for you. That's the fact. In a world where most people would rather watch you fall than watch you rise, the more you tell others how happy you are, especially those who haven't earned a place in your life, the more you invite their judgment, their comparisons, their envy, for free. Some things are far better kept in silence, some victories shine much brighter when they go unannounced. Those who truly love you will notice, and they will rejoice in your wins.
