The creator of Claude Code said they don't use prompts anymore… they build loops. I don't fully get it yet, but I'm spending the next week building them using OpenClaw, Hermes, and Claude Code to find out if this is actually the future. Day 1 starts now. All right. I'm going to say something crazy here if you've been using AI, forget prompting, forget prompt engineering, loop engineering. That's the newest term. Boris from, he's the creator of Clawed Code and Patrick Steinberger. He's the open claw guy. I came out with a lot of interesting comments over the past couple weeks you might have heard. Here's Boris's, let's just watch Boris's comment about how he uses loops instead of prompts. Now let's actually leveled up I think again to the next level of abstraction where I don't prompt quad anymore. I have loops that are running. They're the ones that are prompting quad and kind of figuring out what to do. My job is to write loops. And here's Patrick Steinberger's tweet from OpenClaw. You shouldn't be prompting coding agents anymore. You should be designing loops that prompt your agents. And so the thing you should be asking yourself is this just hype or is this something I should be shifting to learn about. And I'm going to try to figure that out for you or with you over the next week. In a new series, I'm going to talk about this loop engineering. I'm going to implement loops for my company for my personal workflows and really try to get to the bottom of it. I don't think it's just hype, but I do think there's a lot of confusion out there. No one really knows what loop engineering means. These two guys just came out and said, I write loops instead of prompts and everyone's like, OK, I need to write loops. But no one's really grasping how loops work and the power of them. So I'm going to do that over the next week. So I hope that you can learn something too.
