The father has published an encyclical on the artificial intelligence and if you are asking why the Vatican should take part in AI, the answer is simple because AI is not only a technology which is what I'm trying to say for years. AI is changing our way of working, our way of living, our way of informing us, it's changing human relationships, it's changing the way we take decisions. Apart from that, what is an encyclical? It's one of the most important documents that a father can write. You know, it's very complicated when it comes to writing. It has a theme that is so important to have an impact on the entire society. For example, in 1891, a 13-year-old father published "Rerum Novarum" and a text on the industrial revolution, on the factories and the workers' work. And now, the 14-year-old father has published "Manifika Humanitas". What is the theme? Not as much AI will work on it, but who controls these systems? How do they use it? How do we guarantee that they remain in the service of the human being? Practically, the father is saying the same things that I say in my book, "Other Potec", which explains how to build humanism and technology. Which is not what we do with how the technology works. We talk a lot more about what kind of humanity we want to build with this technology. Because using it, AI will become more and more simple. It will only be talking about us, it won't run any kind of technical competition. And therefore, it will become accessible more and more to anyone. The father will also say that AI will be active, we will do everything. But it will open up to three huge risks. Number one, the concentration of power. That is, the fact that few huge companies can control all algorithms and all data, which will be able to control the invisible infrastructure of society. The risk number two is the work. In the cycle of paragons, this moment in the industrial revolution, saying that millions of people could be replaced by relevant oreas, if, and there is always a huge one here that everyone forgets, don't replace relevant oreas if AI has been used only by profit. Or just by automation, which is important. And then third, the father is talking about disarming AI. Because today, AI has already been used in the war, in mass surveillance, especially in the automatic decisions taken by real people. The risk here is spiritual, social, philosophical. Because if we reach all algorithms, including the decisions of who lives and who dies, what remains of us, what do we invent? When, at the end, the Vatican decides to talk about AI and decides, at the end, to describe us an encyclical, we realize that AI is not just a tech or a ball that will explode at some point, but we are talking about a historical transformation, from which we do part of all of this.
