I never believed in champs in my reach, and so my life started falling apart the exact same time my husband said it was protecting our home. For context, I have always aimed more than my husband. I am not bragging, it is just facts. I have a good job and I have a side business that is doing very well. I paid most of the bills. I helped him financially without complaining. He used to joke and say, "Don't worry one day, I will catch up." Then one evening, after a small argument about money, he casually said something that stuck with me.
