Caesar only saw the keeper enter the doorcode once, but he instantly memorized every number. Late that night, he quietly slipped out of his cage, then he walked to the locked door and entered the code perfectly. After that, he passed through the staff hallway, climbed onto the roof of the zoo and escaped without anyone noticing. But Caesar was not running away. Under the cover of night, he secretly returned to his former owner, Will's house. He opened the fridge in the corner and found several bottles of the modified virus. Caesar knew this drug could make apes smarter. So without hesitation, he took every sample and brought them back to the shelter. Then, while all the apes were sleeping, he released the virus into the room. By the next morning, everything had changed. The keeper came in as usual, yelling at the animals to wake up. But he did not notice that the apes were strangely quiet today. Every single one of their eyes had turned green. Caesar sat at the entrance and checked them one by one. Only after making sure their eyes had changed, did he let them go outside. And Caesar's own green eyes had become even brighter than before. When the supervisor saw this, he only felt confused. The apes that were usually loud and chaotic were now gathered together in perfect order, but in his eyes, they were still just animals, so he did not take it seriously. That night, all the apes returned to their cages on their own. But while the keeper was locking up, he suddenly noticed Caesar still standing outside. He immediately told another keeper to bring a gun. If anything went wrong, they would shoot him. Then he raised his electric baton and tried to force Caesar back into the cage. But Caesar suddenly grabbed the baton with one hand. The two keepers froze, even the apes inside the cages were stunned. Before anyone could react, Caesar knocked the keeper down with one punch. Then he dragged him into the cage and locked him inside. After that, Caesar opened the cages and released the rest of the apes. But just then, another keeper accidentally walked through the wrong door. By the time he realized what was happening, it was already too late.
