One of the most frustrating things I've experienced in the past is knowing that someone loves you but not being able to fill the love. And I think a part of me felt guilty because they would tell me they loved me. They would show me they loved me, but they would only show me in their ways. And then when I would explain to them that I didn't fill the love, it made it seem like I was overlooking everything that they've done for me prior. But that was never the case, it's just that you're speaking Spanish and I'm speaking Italian. I'm so firm on the fact that you need to fulfill your partners love languages or else they just won't feel it. It's their way of receiving and talking. And I think this is also why in situations I've been in the past, other people have had to step in and kind of mediate and they're almost like the Google Translate. So you're speaking Italian. I'm speaking Spanish. I think that's a bit of the other way around anyways. And we're not understanding each other so we have to get someone to explain. No, this person didn't mean it in this way and they did it because they did this and they did it because they loved you. Also, a person explains they make sense but why can't I get it the first time around? Why can't we speak to each other in a language that we both understand? Like you're telling me you love me, you're doing all these things for me but that's how you want to be loved. That's not how I want to be loved. And that's why it's so important to do the small things. I think I'm so content with the small things but when you're doing a bunch of small things that mean nothing to you, it's like it's going to waste essentially.
