I'm literally trying to let you know that repose are fucking illegal. 15USC calls 1692 of unfair practices a debt collector may not unfair or uncosiable me to collect or attempt to collect on any debt. That means taking or threatening to take any non-judicial action to affect deposition or disabling of property. The case is even more crazy is when the creditor or the finance servicer for your loan has a third party which is the reposition company or aka the repo reaper. They just gave them your address, your social, your name, everything they can get to get the card. That's identity theft. Creditor violates 15USC calls 1681c. It literally says, ee, shall not prohibit the disclosure of non-public personal information. And if you're like, I'm already got repossessed, I didn't know my rights, what next. These tell me you at least got the right to redeem letter which literally states that the car loan lender is required to send you a written notice of the right to redeem the car. If they're selling it off to the auction, they must give you a chance to buy back that car with the pay off amount. They don't send you that right to redeem, they forfeit their rights to collect on the debt. Which means that repo must be removed because they didn't follow protocol. If you didn't get your right to the redeem letter and they charged that repo office back debt, I'm going to need you to get your 1099c. I'm authorized by the IRS, I already made sure that this 1099c was valid and I'm going I'm gonna need Johnson to send that in.
