Alright y'all, this video is specifically for my other allergic to water bannies out there. I just want to say, "Love y'all." I know it's rough, but I wanted to come on here and give a few tips and tricks, at least things that have worked for me, and just let y'all know. I'm itching. It's a human day out here, I've been sweating a lot, so there is that. But on the contrary, let's get into these tips, y'all. Alright, so first thing I would recommend is when you are getting out of a body of water and you're drying off with a towel or whatever, instead of rubbing, pat to dry. Pat to dry has been saving me. Let me tell y'all, please, I'm begging you, pat to dry. Okay, trust me, this one, it's definitely helped me out a lot, just because the rubbing and everything makes things a lot more sensitive and it flares up a lot more, but doing this kind of pat to dry method has definitely been working a little bit better for me. It makes the reaction last a little less long and a little less intense, so that is one thing I would say. Another tip that I would give is this one might be a little bit over the top, but I shower in sections, so I do my hair in one completely different time when I wash my entire body. I also, I'll shave only on certain days. I'll only do specific parts of my body at a time, just so that way that in itself makes the skin a lot more sensitive and makes the reaction a little bit worse, so I would highly recommend doing that if you're having trouble getting through an entire shower, being able to get through everything. I know it's a little bit harder to schedule that and make time for it, but I would highly recommend that it's something that I do do. Another thing, highly recommend, this is for y'all that are really affected by the rain. I know I am, the rain tends to be one of my worst reactions, so invest in a pair of waterproof pants. I'm being so furry y'all. I'm talking ski pants, snow pants, whatever you gotta do, do it like you do, I mean it's summer now, so unfortunately I'm not gonna go and put on that whole fit, but I have a jacket that goes down to my mid thighs and then I have waterproof pants. To be honest, I don't really give a fuck if people see me like that because I'm doing what's best for me, you guys should do what's best for you, obviously. Alright, my last tip for today is if you know that you're gonna be getting into a body of water, make sure that you have a distraction, something to do afterwards. When I shower, I either shower and then know that I'm gonna have to get ready to go somewhere. If it's like I have nothing to do, it's a really open day for me, I'll take a nap. I'm gonna be so furry y'all with y'all, falling asleep, taking a nap makes it so much easier to deal with, and I know that's really hard for some people, some people don't have time for that and I get that, but you would highly recommend maybe taking showers at the end of the day, doing it right before you're gonna go to sleep. It definitely helps, I think, when you go to sleep afterwards because then you wake up and you didn't even have to deal with it. So, those are my tips for y'all, if y'all want any more, please let me know, but I love y'all, and thank you for making me feel so seen, so have a good day.
