Most people think you need a 10-year degree to make 150k per year, that's absolutely wrong. If you want to make real money, it may be time to disassociate yourself with what you went to college for and what you thought you were going to be in life. You're one certification away from completely changing your income. Let me show you four certifications from the biggest tech companies in the world that can realistically push you into the 150k+ territory. First up, let's talk about a certification from Google, the Google Professional Cloud Architect to be exact. This one is a monster. Here's what you'll do. You're designing entire cloud systems, how companies store data, run apps, and scale globally. So what does it pay? Companies are moving everything to the cloud and they need architects, not beginners, from a salary perspective. Cloud architects are averaging around 150-190k per year with top roles hitting well over 200k. You're the person deciding how the entire tech infrastructure works. Okay, the second certification you can get is Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert. Here's what you'll do. You'll design and implement Microsoft Cloud environments. Think security, scalability, and enterprise systems. Why it pays? Well, Microsoft dominates enterprise tech and every Fortune 500 company uses Azure. From a salary perspective, you can average around 144k per year with top earners pushing 180k+. You're not fixing problems. You're building the system that prevents them. And the third certification that pays big money is the IBM AI Engineering Professional Certificate. Here's what you'll do. You'll build AI models, machine learning, automation, predictive analytics. Why it pays? Well, AI is not the future. It's happening right now. And companies are desperate for people who can actually build it. AI engineers regularly land in the 150k+ range, especially with experience and specialization. Teaching machines how to think and companies will pay big for that. And the fourth certification that pays big money is Salesforce certified technical architect or CTA. In this role, you'll design complex business systems inside Salesforce. You know, the CRM platform that the majority of companies around the world use to manage their customer data. Well, why does it pay so much? Well, like I said, Salesforce runs the revenue engine for thousands of companies. And from a salary perspective, senior Salesforce architects are making around 190k+ in the United States. But this skill travels. I've got a very good friend who lives in London. And he's a Salesforce professional and he's killing it over there. So here's what you should take away from this video. These certifications don't just teach you skills. They position you as a decision maker, not a worker. And that's why they pay more. So here's my question. If you're out there struggling making 60, 70,000 dollars a year and can't see a path to double or triple that, what will it take for you to step out of your comfort zone and go get one of these certifications? It's not as hard as it sounds. In fact, my buddy who lives in London that I mentioned, he was in a similar situation where he was sort of on this hamster wheel of not knowing what was next in his future. And I encourage them to look at a Salesforce career because as a hiring leader, I've seen over the years how difficult it is to hire Salesforce professionals and when we do hire them, how much we pay them. After about a year or two of him not taking any action, he finally got off his butt, found some resources where he could do some self-study to get on a path to learning about Salesforce. And within six months, he had three or four certifications and the sky was the limit for him. So hopefully you found value in this video.
