We have more information about the couple who climbed to the top of the Empire State Building today and has now been arrested. This right here is Angela Nicolau. Her and her boyfriend Ivan Birkis are the couple who pulled this stunt today. It's not known at this time if they purchased any tickets to go up but what we do know is that they did breach the mesh gate on the 102nd floor, which is the highest publicly accessible story to reach the 103rd floor, which is exclusively used for maintenance. Now this couple who live in East Orange, New Jersey are actually featured on this 2024 Netflix docu-series called Skywalkers, a love story. Both of their IG's, there's tons of posts featuring them climbing to extreme heights to the top of the Hollywood sign to the top of this bridge. Birkis even featured today's stunt. It climbed to the top. They flew the spanner that says, "When the power of love beats the love of power, the world knows peace." Then the two of them climbed down and you can see Birkis getting on one knee and proposing, which they very happily shared on Angela's IG. Spokesperson for the Empire State Building did put out a statement saying that the unauthorized incident of the building has been resolved, and at no time was there any danger to tenants, visitors or observation deck guests. Currently people are trying to get comments from Netflix as well since they were on the documentary, but they're not saying anything. As I said in my first video, these two have been arrested, and this is still developing, so we'll have to see what actually comes out of this for them.
