This should be the first thing you're thinking about with any video. This is where you want to start things for to keep it really, really simple. So this video here, POV, you're working digital marketing. So it's going after digital marketing at the top and you can do that with a label. You can do that with like quite simple text. But basically if you type this into TikTok and you do it directly, TikTok will recognize it, understand it, and it will be straight in their video database that this is a video about a particular subject. It is the number one thing you can do to get something to rank. Your scripts and dialogue then, so what you're actively talking about, what you're basically saying in a video, TikTok can actually understand it. TikTok can transcribe what somebody is saying. And because of that, you want to make sure that you're subtitling things, ideally in TikTok directly. Probably a lot of you might already be subtitling maybe in CapCut. CapCut isn't so bad because it's a TikTok product. They're kind of linked, they will link together quite well. But if you're putting subtitles for example in Premiere Pro or something else like that, TikTok will have a harder time fully reading it, but it can read it still. So it's not the end of the world if you use a different app, but the kind of gold standard, write it in TikTok directly. Your description then, that's like your captions here, this bit here. So this is like your body text on the website. So make sure that you've got your keywords in here. What I would say don't do, don't just write in like 8 billion keywords to try and rank for them all, pick the number one thing you want to and make sure it's front and center in here, so that you've got that term out there at the stage. And then your hashtags actually, an actually little bonus point you can use as another area, you don't want to use more than three to five, five at the absolute maximum, but three very closely linked hashtags to whatever you're trying to put in your video. Whatever you do, don't put a hashtag that has got absolutely no relevance to the video you're posting. Because what that will do, it might end up going into a different talk that's not relevant for the video. And what happens if we end up in the wrong audience? Nobody engages with it, no one watches it and it gets bricked in the algorithm. So make sure that what you're using is relevant to the video. Don't just use random hashtags to boot trees. Don't use FIP or stuff like that. It doesn't help your video go any further.
