Rest assured, GTA 6 will be getting an online mode just like GTA 5 did in RDR2. And the reason why I say that is because the online experience has become a massive part of Rockstar's revenue. In fact, back in April, when Rockstar got a lot of their financial debt leaked, we learned that Shocker purchases in GTA Online have made them a total of $5 billion. With one user himself spending over $1 million on these cards alone, you cannot tell me that any for-profit company would turn down releasing an online experience that is this profitable. The game is only displayed as single player right now because Rockstar never drops the online alongside the story mode on Day 1. In the past, GTA 5 Online came out two weeks after the story mode launched in 2013. And for RDR2, the online mode came out a month after the story mode.
