When you use a tampon, you don't really see your blood. You don't smell your blood. You're flushing it down the toilet. And little practices like when you get your cycle. And even if you are using tampons, you can do this practice. You get a bowl of water, a beautiful bowl, something maybe you go to a ceramics place and you create a bowl. And when you have your period, you fill it with water and you leave it in the bathroom. And either when you remove your tampon or you change your pad, you drop it in the water. And you watch the water turn this beautiful shade of red. And you just continue to do this each time you change a pad or a tampon. And at the end of your period, whether you have plants in the house, you have a yard. Take that bowl of water and go outside and simply say from the earth of my body back to mother earth. And water your plants or your yard or whatever. This creates a connection, a memory inside you in essence.
