Shocking 16 children rescued in Ohio were found living in a small room contaminated with feces, and for adults were convicted of serious crimes. On June 30th, authorities executed a search warrant at a residence in Hamden, Wynton County, and reportedly found a child and for suspects inside the house. There is human feces everywhere in the room where children live, with no light and no ventilation. But the four adults themselves live in a room with normal conditions. Some children were found to be unable to speak, and one 18-year-old child with developmental disorders couldn't even write their own name. Seven children were immediately taken to the hospital, one of whom is in critical condition. Subsequently, 73-year-old grandfather Gary Sides, 67-year-old grandmother Christina Sides, 36-year-old father Gary Sides, Jr., and 33-year-old mother Elizabeth Sides were charged with serious murder. They refused to plead guilty during the trial and were each released on bail of $300,000. Ohio Governor Mike Devine called the situation heartbreaking. The authorities stated that a press conference will be held at noon on Wednesday to announce more details, hoping that these children will receive the care in freedom they have never had before.
