The zoning board claimed this crumbling island ruin was a total loss. So I bought it for 20 bucks to show them what a real builder does. Ripping down decades of dead vines came first. Grabbed my pressure washer and blasted 50 years of ocean grime off the concrete stairs. Up on the scaffolding, the rotten window frames got tossed, slapped fresh concrete onto the pillars to reinforce the entire structure. Grabbing a trowel, a thick layer of custom stucco was smoothed perfectly over the damaged walls. Next up, new glass and heavy doors went straight into the frames. Rolled solid coats of bright white exterior paint over the whole facade. Coded the steps to match exactly. Right after that, modern LED lighting was wired in to make it pop. Tossed down tropical planters and installed a custom white railing across the upper deck. Dropped heavy stone pavers into the sand for a walkway, then slammed my wooden sign deep into the beach. Do you honestly think the permit office will make me tear this masterpiece down?
