When humpback whales become heroes, most people think humpback whales are gentle giants that only care about singing and migrating. But that's not the full story. Because when humpback whales see something being attacked, they sometimes step in. It gets strange when you realize who they're protecting. Not just other whales, but seals, dolphins, and even animals they've never met before. Creatures that don't help them at all. So why would a 40 ton animal risk its life for something so small?
