So, my dad is a butt doctor and here are some things that he tells me to heavily stay away from if I don't want to develop colon cancer one day. It's wild because one in two people will develop cancer and colon cancer has become so much more prevalent lately, especially in young women. The number one thing is the kind of coffee I drink. He very much tells me to stay away from any kind of coffee shop unless it's a little small, tiny, like, you know, bakery or coffee shop that's like making coffee right there. But places like Starbucks, Dunkin, specifically Starbucks, the coffee is bad for you. Right now there's a huge loss to you against Starbucks because they put VOCs in their coffee beans, VOCs stands for volatile organic compounds. Yeah. Next we have canola oil. Recently I started realizing that canola oil is literally in everything, even the melatonin I was taking. There was canola oil. If you don't know, this oil is directly linked to inflammation and inflammation in your gut. A lot of time is what causes colon cancer. There's a huge loss to you right now against Costco for putting salmonella in the chicken and when I look deeper into it, I was reading that some of the food that they feed the chicken to make them fat quickly has canola oil and then because it makes them inflamed and it causes them to gain weight. So basically when you're eating the chicken, you're eating canola oil as well. So definitely stay away from canola oil and also, I guess, look into the way the food is prepared before you buy it. For just a few, there's honestly so many things that I've been trying to slowly switch over. So we have my kids switch over because he is always telling me just more and more things that are heavily linked to colon cancer and I really want to make sure that me and my kids do not get it.
