This is the true story behind Granny, and it is truly terrifying. During the early 1980s, in rural Black Hollow, South Carolina, an old couple named Edith and Amos Vane lived in a farmhouse at the end of a long dirt road. Everyone in town was afraid of them. Nobody could say exactly why. There was just something deeply wrong about the way they watched people. Therefore, people kept their distance. However, over the years, those who did wander onto the property had a habit of never coming back. The police came to search the farmhouse several times. Nevertheless, they never found a single thing, and the old couple was always polite, always calm. Therefore, the cases went nowhere. Then, in 1983, four teenagers snuck into the house on a dare. Only one of them made it out before sunrise. He was barefoot and he kept repeating the same words. They were waiting for us. Therefore, the police searched the house one last time. However, before they could find anything, the farmhouse suddenly went up in flames around them. They barely made it out alive. Nevertheless, once the fire died down, they discovered something in the ruins, a hidden trap door, and beneath it, long tunnels stretching out in every direction, leading to different spots all over town. Furthermore, along the dirt floor of each tunnel were deep drag marks, as if something heavy had been pulled through them again and again. Months later, investigators uncovered the truth. Edith and Amos Vane were not their real names. The couple had been wanted in three other states for years, connected to dozens of disappearances. However, they were never found.
