Let's read this story. My coworker thought it was funny to send a fake resignation email from my computer while I was in the bathroom. I came up to my desk and saw three missed calls from my manager. Then, H-H-Out messaged me. Can you come to the meeting room too immediately? I looked at my coworker and he was trying not to laugh. What did you do? I asked him. Nothing. Just who he said. I walked into the meeting room and my manager was sitting there with someone from H-H-Out. My manager said, "We just received your resignation." I'm surprised you didn't speak to me first. I froze. My words? She turned her laptop towards me. She was an email from my account saying I was resigned and effective immediately because I had found a company that actually values its employees. My stomach dropped. I did not send that. My manager looked confused. H-H-Out acts. Does anyone else help access to your computer? That's when I realized, I walked back to the office and said, "Tell them." My coworker started laughing. It was a joke. Relax. I thought everyone would know it was fake. Nobody laughed. My manager asked him to come into the meeting room. Twenty minutes later, he came out looking completely different. Apparently, H-H-Out didn't find the funny that he had accessed my work email and impersonated me. By the end of the day, his computer had been taken away and he had been suspended pending an investigation. Text me that evening. I hope you are happy. You could have just told them it was a prank. I replied. I did tell them. He said you didn't have to make it such a beating. On half of the office things H-H-Out were reacted because it was obviously a joke. The other half are saying a resignation email from someone's account isn't a prank and somehow my colleague is cleaning me. You had not learned the responsibilities from your action. Why didn't the colleague prank H-H-Out by sending a resignation letter with his own email from his own work laptop? I don't understand. And the fact that this colleague is trying to be the victim like you see what you've caused, you could have told them it's a prank. You almost make somebody lose their job and you're not doing the sentimental bullshit thing. Okay, so what do you think?
