It is the perfect shade of light beige. And no, the footstools are not attached to sofa. They both of them can be moved around however you like. I have had this sofa for over three months now and it still looks as fantastic as the day I got it. No, it doesn't go flat, it still stays plump, it's so comfortable, it's brilliant. Yes guys, it just comes flat pack, you do have to build it but I can honestly tell you it is worth it. And everything on the sofa is washable. The cushions, the back cover, the arms, the only things that aren't washable are the small panels on the bottom of the buffet and the bottom of the sofa.
