I had to restart my codebase before because of how messy it got and this was in part due to a lack of a strong foundation and a lack of documentation #build #ai #viral #fyp #Tech

There's no point having your agent's code until you have these five documents. First is your PRD, a product requirements document. It has every core feature exactly what you're building and the overview of your idea. This lets you go one-level deeper into your tech design document or ATDD. Basically the Bible for what your tech decisions will be. What tech stack are you using? Any tools or APIs you're calling? The next will then go into your app flow. This is the flow of every screen in your app. Your user journeys, your onboarding. What happens if you click this button and so on. That allows you to then go into your design break. It covers the look and feel of your app. The color palette, the typography, the components, the style, and how each screen should look. Roughly so that the AI doesn't just build something completely random. The next is a back-end schema. This maps the data your app needs. Your tables, fields, data types, and the relationships between them. And then finally, as a bonus, you need an engineer to do that. This will break the project into small testable tasks and puts them into the right build order, including dependencies and acceptance criteria.
